How to tell the difference between true left-handed scissors and those with reversed finger-grips:

1. Take the pair of scissors.
2. Hold them with a handle in your left hand and a handle in your right hand and the blades pointing away from you.
3. Look at the blades to see which blade is on top.
4. If the blade coming from the handle in your left hand is on top of the other blade, then they are genuine left-handed scissors and not scissors with reversed finger-grips.
5. Turn them over and you should see that the top blade is still the one that comes from the left handle.
